Plans, coordinates, directs, and implements the marketing and sales programs for the residence management company by performing the following duties independently and/or with other designated staff.

Maintains Rights of Residents as set forth by the Ohio Department of Health laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate.


Establishes marketing and sales goals to ensure share of market and profitability of the residence and services.

Develops and implements marketing/sales plans and programs, both short and long term range, to ensure the profit growth of the residence management company via the attainment and preservation of projected and budgets census goals.

Plans, implements, and manages marketing/sales activities, including all marketing/sales staff, in accordance with budgeted allocations.

Maintains effective control of marketing and sales results to ensure the achievement of the set-forth marketing/sales objectives.

Researches, analyzes, and monitors demographic factors and competitor activity to capitalize on market opportunities.

Conducts resident and referral source surveys to identify public and customer perception and satisfaction regarding the concept and the reputation of the residence and its services.

Develops and oversees the marketing campaigns and promotional activities including all forms of media, as well as all promotional and collaterol materials.

Responds to and ensures follow up on all inquiries with documentation of ongoing activity.

Schedules, coordinates, and participates in the residence tours for prospective residents and referral sources, as well as in-house marketing presentations and events for the purpose of explaining and promoting the concepts, amenities, and services.

Develops and continues to generate both a prospective resident and a referral source database.

Qualifies the financial and physician appropriateness of the prospective resident.

Provides the prospective residents and/or responsible parties with all required regulatory information and guidelines, all residency guidelines and information, and addresses all concerns with feature/benefit solutions with the objective of securing a residency admission.

Develops an internal marketing program through the implementation of staff training programs for the maintenance of standards, customer service and relations.

Oversees and prepares monthly marketing/sales activity reports.


Plans and authorizes all publications and public announcements regarding the advertising of the residence, including free press feature articles.

Develops, negotiates, and authorizes all advertising contracts within the annual budgetary constraints.

Reviews and approves all advertisements before release.

Monitors, analyzes, and records generated results from advertising to determine cost effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
